1. Scope of Application

1. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all bookings, stays, and other services provided by Stettler Hotel + Restaurant AG.

2. Deviating terms of the guest will only be accepted if expressly confirmed in writing by us.

 

2. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

1. Bookings may be made in writing, by telephone, or online.

2. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of the booking by the hotel.

3. For group bookings of 10 or more persons, special regulations may apply.

 

3. Prices and Payment

1. All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax.

2. A deposit or full prepayment is required at the time of booking, if indicated in the booking process.

3. Remaining balances are due on the day of arrival.

4. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

 

4. Cancellation and Rebooking

1. Cancellations must be made in writing.

2. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

   • Up to 14 days prior to arrival: free of charge

   • 13–7 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total price

   • Less than 7 days prior to arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total price

3. Rebookings are possible subject to availability. Changes to the booking period may be subject to fees.

 

5. Arrival and Departure

1. Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.

2. Check-out: until 11:00 a.m.

3. Early arrival or late departure may be possible subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

 

6. Services of the Hotel

1. The hotel shall provide the agreed rooms and services.

 

7. Duties of the Guest

1. The guest undertakes to treat the rooms and facilities with care.

2. The guest is fully liable for any damage to or loss of hotel property.

 

8. Liability

1. The hotel shall only be liable for intent or gross negligence.

2. The bringing of pets requires prior approval and may incur additional charges.

3. Liability for personal belongings, valuables, or vehicles is governed by statutory provisions. Guests are advised to store valuables in the safe or other secure facilities provided.

 

9. Data Protection

1. Personal data is processed for the purpose of handling bookings, customer care, and marketing in accordance with data protection law.

10. Final Provisions

1. Swiss law shall apply.

2. The place of jurisdiction is Grindelwald, Switzerland.

3. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
